Can we use our domain email address to send emails through Quote Mates?

Yes. You can choose to send all emails through your domain (say yourdomain.com). All emails in that scenario will have addresses like john@yourdomain.com and jane@yourdomain.com. Please contact us at support@aquaapi.com to enable this for your account. This involves a one-time domain authentication (www.yourdomain.com) to ensure that all emails from your domain are categorized by ISPs (Internet Service Providers) as authenticated emails and hence not destined for SPAM folder.

By default, Quote Mates does the following, till the time your domain is authenticated for sending emails:
  • Your name (eg: John Doe) used in your BigCommerce control panel is the default 'From name' appearing in sender's name in all emails.
  • Corresponding email address (From email) is set to support@aquaapi.com
  • Reply-to email is always set to your email address (eg: john.doe@acme.com)

Use of support@aquaapi.com ensures that all emails from Quote Mates go to your customer's email Inboxes. This is also the norm in the industry for sending emails on behalf of others.
